Nouvelles Frontières Deploys FDS’ CONTOUR Platform

Nouvelles Frontières, a leading French tour and packaged travel company, deployed the Contour travel management platform from Fourth Dimension Software at more than 200 of its travel agencies.

Nouvelles Frontières is part of TUI AG. It comprises the Nouvelles Frontières and TUI France tour operator brands and 340 retail travel agencies, as well as other travel-related businesses.

Contour’s desktop booking and reservations management system will enable the agents to query TUI France’s real-time prices and availability and compare products and pricing for alternative dates.

It will enable agents to search for products across a wide range of parameters, including destination, travel dates, class of service, price, activities, themes and interests.

It also provides travel agents with up-sell and cross-sell opportunities and enables them to adjust components on a package, make changes to bookings and provide enhanced post-booking customer support.

Nouvelles Frontières will continue to add products and services available for booking by travel agencies through the Contour platform.

Its installation of Contour runs on the HP Integrity NonStop NS14000 Server.
